USABO Mission

The mission and goals of the USABO are aligned with those of the International BIology Olympiad (IBO).

USABO Goals

The USABO goals are to:

• Identify highly gifted biology students to stimulate their talents.
• Nurture curiosity and empower young biologists to develop their interest in life sciences.
• Encourage an international network of biology scholars and future life science leaders.
• Propel excellence and leadership in biology-based careers.
